OUR HISTORY

Rosbottom Interests was formed by Harold L. Rosbottom, Jr. With almost a decade of prior experience in the oil and gas industry, he realized the risk of investing all of his energies into a business with economic dependencies that were, to a large degree, beyond his control.

Harold was President/CEO and/or Chairman of four separate Louisiana oil and gas exploration and production companies. In the mid ‘80s, all of these companies suffered greatly from the oil crisis. However, due to conservative management, these companies did not become dependent upon leveraged capital and all remain viable today.

It was at this time that a decision was made to make a change. The companies could not be left solely dependent upon such a volatile industry. Diversity was the solution and so the commitment was made. While continuing to strengthen the oil and gas exploration and production companies, the search began for other industries, businesses, and investment opportunities.

Today the commitment to diversification continues. Rosbottom Interests is a private investment company with holdings in oil and gas, gaming, convenience stores, real estate development and management, hotel development, retail fuel marketing, and venture capital.

The success of each respective business venture has continued by associating highly talented management with exceptional employees. With a strong management structure in place, Rosbottom Interests is poised for new opportunities and future development. Additional growth within its core competencies is the cornerstone of Rosbottom Interests.
